Sunday School: Every Sunday morning from 945-1100 AM, we meet together in a time of bible study, fellowship and prayer. All ages are welcome; birth to senior. We believe in the importance of Sunday School, for through it we can develop long lasting relationships that are needed to walk with Christ as a church body. We hope to see you there!
Music Ministry: Every Sunday Morning our choir brings our minds to focus on worship of God. Leading the congregation in hymns and specials. We would love to have you apart of singing praises to God.
Youth Ministry: Our youth meet every Sunday morning at 945 AM and Wednesday night at 700 PM for bible study, fellowship and prayer. Also the youth are involved with different mission activities in our community. Our youth lead our services every fifth Sunday. Come and join us.
Children's Ministry: Children are very important to us at PVBC. On the second and fourth Sunday of each month we have Children's Church during regular worship time. Also have Wednesday night Children's bible study time at 7pm. We also have Vacation Bible School every summer.
Mission Offerings: Lottie Moon Christmas Offering: Southern Baptists send missionaries from their churches, through IMB, to go into the world making disciples in the name of Jesus. In that partnership, Southern Baptists provide the funding to send and support these missionaries and their ministries. The more resources they provide, the more missionaries can be sent.
Annie Armstrong Easter Offering:To support the efforts of the North American Mission Board’s Send North America strategy, as missionaries and church planters push back lostness in the United States and Canada.
Operation Christmas Child: The world’s largest Christmas project of its kind, Operation Christmas Child, uses gift-filled shoeboxes to share God’s love in a tangible way with needy children around the world. Since 1993, Samaritan’s Purse has collected and delivered more than 113 million gift-filled shoeboxes to children in over 150 countries through Operation Christmas Child. Individuals, families, churches, and groups fill empty shoeboxes with gifts of toys, school supplies, hygiene items, and notes of encouragement.Samaritan’s Purse will collect the gift-filled shoeboxes at more than 4,000 drop-off sites in all 50 states and Puerto Rico. Toy Store: A ministry of Elkin Baptist Association, supported by local churches. It is a store where parents who can’t afford to buy toys for their children for Christmas get NEW toys. Then counseling is provided to find out if there are other needs: clothes, food, etc. Always, the plan of salvation in Christ is shared
